The National Show Horse
The National Show horse is actually a cross bred horse. In fact, it is
a cross between the American Saddlebred horse and the Arabian horse.
When it first came out, it was not viewed as a separate breed, but now
it has been and it's been in the breed registry since August of 1981.
So what do you get when you mix two of these horses to get National
Show Horses? Pretty much, what you get is a high set, upright horse
that has a swan like neck. Not only that, but the neck should not have
a pronounced crest at all. The horse should also have laid back
shoulders, as well as a high tail carriage. Most of the horses sit
about 15 hands high. However, some people have had National Show horses
that are over 16 hands high. From time to time, you will find a few
National Show Horses that go over or under the average. After all, that
is why it is just an average.
When you view this horse, you will see that it is used mostly for
saddle seat riding. This is also a horse that can be trained to do high
stepping actions as it walks. This is your typical sports horse,
however, and can be used for a lot of things. In fact, this horse is
used a lot for jumping shows. However, it can also be found in a lot of
endurance shows, as well as dressage shows. On top of all that, a lot
of people have entered a National Show Horse into the western riding
shows as well. These really are horses that can do just about
everything that you ask them to. That makes them one of the best kinds
of horses that you can have. If you really want a versatile breed, then
this is the horse for you. Of course, National Show horses do not come
cheap. If you are going to use these horses in shows, then you have to
be a big name entry, because only people who spend all of their life in
shows use these horses.
People who have the money, do like to use the National show horses as
pleasure riding horses as well. Of course, keep in mind that these
horses are very active, and thus, they can be hard to keep in a field.
You have to have a lot of room for them to run around in. These horses
can be pretty easy to train and that is why people like using them as
show horses. They can be tough to handle, however, until you train
them. Afterwards, they are some of the easiest horses that you can ever
ride on. Overall, this is a breed of horse that you will not want to be
without if you can afford to have one. These are one of those horses
that everyone wants to end up with, but not everyone can get. Of
course, these National Show hoses are usually not used in short
distance racing. That is because they are not as fast in short races
like other horses are.
