The Welara Pony Breed
The Welara pony is a type of pony breed that actually comes from the
Arabian horse breed. This is the outcome when you mix an Arabian male
with a Welsh pony female. They are usually used for mounts for children
and small adults. Normally, women love to mount the Welara ponies,
because they are the perfect size for them. These ponies, of course,
vary in size a lot. They can be anywhere from 11.2 hands high or 14.2
hands high. It's, of course, a good idea to use the bigger ones for
adult mounts. Although women may not weigh a lot, they are going to
find that they prefer the bigger ponies. There are a lot of things that
you can use Welara ponies for. A lot of people use them for dressage
competitions, but others even like to use them for show jumping
competitions. Of course, if you are going to be in a show jumping
contest with a Welara pony, then it is best to have a female rider.
These horses may not be able to move faster with a heavier man on
them.
These ponies have not been around too long, only from about 1981.
However, they have made quite a name for themselves in just a few short
years. In fact, they are one of the most popular breeds of ponies now.
These horses really like to be around people, and they have a very
friendly nature. There are some ponies that can be mean, but these
ponies are super sweet. They are also easy to train and fairly easy to
control as well. Thus, this gives kids an easier ride on the horse.
They are much more likely to be able to control this kind of pony over
other ponies. Welara ponies are super nice, and overall, a good pick
for any family. All you have to do is make sure that this is the kind
of pony you want. They come in a lot of different colors, so you should
not have to hard of a time picking out the color you want. However,
make sure that the color you get, as well as the size, matches up with
the requirements for the horse. If they do not, then that horse will
not count.
There are a lot of different horses that you can choose to go with out
there, and some of them are going to be better than others. Trying to
pick the right pony for you is something that only you can choose. Do
not get a pony just because they are a popular breed. You should make
sure that the pony meets the requirements that you need it to meet.
Whether you want it for a mount for a female rider or you want it for a
kid, make sure that the pony is well suited to live up to that job. If
it is, then you can go ahead and get that pony. However, do keep in
mind that you are not going to find many better ponies than Welara
ponies. These truly are great ponies.
